Accessibility
We want ImpactED usable by as many people as possible, including people navigating with a keyboard, a screen reader, or reduced motion settings. This is an ongoing effort rather than a finished state.
What we've built in
- Semantic HTML and interactive components built on Base UI, which ships accessible keyboard and screen-reader behaviour by default.
- Visible focus states on interactive elements throughout the product.
- Motion that respects your operating system's reduced-motion preference — decorative animation on the marketing site turns off automatically.
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and its background in both the light and dark themes.
Known limitations
Some richer marketing-site effects — the particle field backgrounds and the custom cursor — are visual flourishes only and don't carry any information; they're automatically disabled for reduced-motion and non-pointer devices.
Tell us what's not working
If you run into a barrier using ImpactED, we want to know about it. Reach out at hello@impactedu.example or through our contact page and describe the issue and the assistive technology you're using — it helps us fix it faster.
