Instructor Agreement

This agreement covers the extra terms that apply once you publish a course on ImpactED, on top of our general Terms of Service.

Ownership and licence

You retain full ownership of everything you upload — video lessons, resources, quizzes, and your course description. Publishing on ImpactED grants us a non-exclusive licence to host and deliver that content to enrolled learners. You're free to publish the same material anywhere else, on any terms — we don't require exclusivity.

Publishing and edits

  • Courses are built with the curriculum editor — modules, lessons, resources, and pricing.
  • Once a course is published, it's locked from further edits so enrolled learners always see a stable version.
  • To make changes, unpublish it back to draft, edit, and publish again. Platform administrators can make moderation edits to a live course without this round trip.
  • We may remove a course that violates our Terms of Service or applicable law.

Pricing and payouts

  • You set your own course price, in the currencies we support, and can change it while the course is in draft.
  • Revenue from enrolments accrues to your wallet as purchases are completed.
  • You can request a payout from your instructor dashboard; requests are reviewed by our team before funds are released.
  • If an enrolment is refunded, the corresponding amount is reversed from your wallet — see our Refund Policy.

Conduct

Course content must be your own work (or properly licensed), accurate, and free of harassment, hate speech, or material that infringes on someone else's rights. We may suspend an instructor account that violates this.

Ending the relationship

You can stop teaching on ImpactED at any time by unpublishing your courses. Learners who already enrolled keep access to the course content for the duration described in our Terms of Service.

Changes to this agreement

If we make material changes to this agreement, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify instructors directly.
