ImpactED keeps this simple: we don't run third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we don't use cookies for cross-site tracking. What we do use is browser local storage, functionally similar to a cookie, to keep the product working.

What we store locally

• Session tokens — so you stay signed in between visits instead of logging in every time.
• Interface preferences — such as your light/dark theme choice in the instructor and learner dashboards.

What we don't do

We don't set third-party advertising cookies, don't sell browsing data, and don't use cookies to track you across other websites.

Managing local storage

You can clear local storage at any time from your browser settings — doing so will sign you out and reset any saved interface preferences.
